I hate sunny weather. The heat is uncomfortable and the sun shines in my eyes and there’s bugs everywhere.

I’m with Phoebe on this one.

She thinks Phoebe is punking her? Maybe that Ashton Kutcher is involved.:-D

Obviously because of school. Whether she’s going or just coming back from.

Okay, so Global Warming isn’t a total loss. But we already have more than enough of the one good part, so don’t overindulge.

grumpy over fine weather… oh, boy

She’s only happy when it rains.

We’ve been getting fast moving clouds with unseasonably cool temps and occasional rain. The rain would be good: We’ve been in a drought for several years, but the temps w/ wind chill are getting me down.

Just as schools close for Snow Days, they should close for exceptionally nice weather. Call them Frolic Days?

She’s complaining that she’s gotta go to school on such a nice day. Read between the lines.

Here comes the sun and I say… it’s all wrong

I once had a teacher who would move class outside on incredibly nice days. She was the only one of the many teachers I had who would do it.

I’m with Marigold here. Seriously Phoebe?

She did warn in advance that the reason was stupid, Marigold.

Good timing award (given comic lead times), heat wave hitting the eastern part of the US this week (or bad timing, depending on how you look at it).

Yeah right. Tomorrow is going to be the hottest day of the week. BOOOO. >:(

It’s too nice a day to be cooped up in a classroom, eh Phoebe? I agree.

I think Phoebe may be needing a mental health check-up. This is the second time in a month that Phoebe has been down.

I didn’t mind going to school in the rain for exactly this reason – work as well. PE in the rain was fine since I was going to shower immediately after anyway. Sunny days were for lots of other stuff. As an adult I hate to think how many beautiful days have been lost to an office and a paycheck.

At least she’s conscious of the absurdity of her mood …

Well, it’s true that the weather is too dang nice here in the PNW. This is the fourth driest Spring we’ve ever had, I think.

That means that you are in a dream, and about to wake up!
