And in the years since this was first published we’ve seen a dramatic dip in the number of people you will see smoking in public… Perhaps because in the years since this was first published there are fewer public spaces where you’re allowed to smoke. I, for one, breathe easier for it.

I started smoking when I was 15. Had the habit for 20 years, and was trying to quit for 16 of them. Anyone who says nicotine isn’t addictive is a {expletive/gerund deleted} liar.
