I have a big question. In big Nate there are cheese doodles, but in real life I never see them. Where did they go, and how did Cheetos replace them?

I looked it up, and Bugles are less healthy than Cheez Doodles in almost every way (even without the peanut butter). So Nate’s better off with the cheezy goodness he’s always loved since the beginning of time

Even though Nate acts like he has an addiction, I don’t think it’s true addiction. True addiction means that Nate will go through any measure to get is greedy hands on them, whether it’s shoplifting or mugging people who carry them

Fun fact: Bugles were introduced to the (U.S.) public in 1966, along with two other snacks, Whistles and Bows. Whistles were tube-shaped cheesy poofs, basically; and Bows looked like bowtie pasta but were made out of corn chip substance. My favorite as a child were the Whistles. Interesting how Whistles and Bows didn’t live long.
