This one just seems sad.

Tragic but funny at the same time. Rita’s father seems to have problems with alcohol and parties. This plus her mother makes me feel sad for her very hard childhood.

…and now you know the REST off the story… (so very sad…teared up a little over this one.)

He don’t look so good. Poor little Rita!

The last few days tells us all we need to know about Rita.

What’s the old saying, damaged people damage people. I think I’m going to revisit today’s Red and Rover. Just for the smiles.

I am proof (I think?) that a person can recover from an abusive and alcoholic father.

As far as I can tell, despite prodigious progress in all the fields of human endeavor, predicting the result of any given set of cirucumstance on any specific individual is still a crap shoot.

When you have a wife that looks like a cross between Nancy Pelosi and Tars Tarkas, sometimes crawling into a bottle seems like the only logical choice.

Poor Rita. There’s a backstory for everyone.

Love the coloring today. The deep blue background really makes everything pop.
