    So exactly what did he do to save the spot? His tent is not near the table, and the family showed up just after he woke up, so apparently he didn’t do anything.

    Did either Cantu or Castellanos live in San Antonio, by any chance? (Of course, there camping out in the park to hold a spot is an Easter tradition.)
