If you are lucky, it’s only a thousand per hmm.

Even when you do the work yourself, buy the materials from the industrial suppliers, and reuse the cabinets, doors & handles, it can cost a LOT of money. BUT, when you’re done, it is so satisfying when people oooh and aaah at it. :D

Actually, kitchen and bathroom renovations increase the value of a home for resale. One of the few things that does. Prospective buyers rarely like your paint scheme, so painting the walls will not help. The same with carpets. But the kitchen? The woman of the house ALWAYS wants a modern, fancy kitchen. THAT is where she spends a lot of time and wants it with the most modern appliances.
