Interesting cartoon physics today. In the first panel Scratch and the button is to the right of Nate’s easy chair. In the second panel Scratch has jumped to the left and Captain Crow is to the right of the easy chair. In the split second Scratch pushes the button, Captain Crow had moved from the side to behind the easy chair in order to be standing over the spring!

This reminds me a bit of the hilarious disrespect that the crew members treated Captain Crow with in the strips of more than 20 years ago.

Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should old acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne? The Captain’s fallen overboard, for auld lang syne.
