Many times I’ve thought of an idea but because I didn’t do anything about it (get it manufactured, market it, etc.) someone ELSE also thought of it and acted on it!
“Order now and we’ll double the order and pay the shipping, just pay a separate fee.” If the order is doubled for the price of one item and the shipping is all free, what is the separate fee for?
We DO NOT order anything by any means until there is ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER WAY TO GET IT AND WE REALLY NEED IT.
Ordering and delivery never seems to work for us – between the items not being as they supposed to be (including a marine propane detector when we even called and made sure it was the RV version and we had to pay to ship it back to after paying to ship it to us), the delivery cost is crazy (husband ordered Christmas gifts from the major ordering company for his nieces and made sure they were over the $25 limit for free shipping, but since they were coming two different offices – we had to pay an extra $10 in shipping) or the items are left at the foot of our driveway (on a 4 lane main road) when delivered. The gift for younger niece was ordered early the first week in December and was delivered, not in the 2 weeks promised, but in January!
Food ordered from Walmart during this past year to avoid going out to shop – stores here do not deliver, so we had to order online for delivery from Walmart warehouses – arrived over 4 days in several boxes or envelopes each day from warehouses located from New England to California ( from assorted locations each day). Cans arrived dented (60% of them) some so bad that they are almost bent in half. Cooking oil bottles had the neck/caps bent into their plastic bottles so badly that even when the bottles were opened they could not be unbent. Boxes with items such as cake mixes looked as if they had been stepped on.
Food ordered from BJs by shopper – credit card billed for entire amount, then texts started of what they were out of and asking for replacement items. We had mostly done ordered as we needed meat type items and they were all out of stock except 7.5 lb package of stew meat – when used was 60% fat. In one case a bag of ice was offered as a substitute for a meat item. Then they did not adjust the bill for the items not received and it took husband two days on phone to get it corrected.

I had the Pocket Fisherman long before the TV ads. But he escaped. He looked a lot like Grant Williams.
