Since Gridley is a member of PETA, he decides not to deprive the dinosaur of its breakfast.

ERB was known to intentionally rewrite herbivores into carnivores, like the time he had a triceratops with Tarzan up a tree. (Tarzan the Terrible?)

Oh nothing to worries about. Herbie the herbivore dinosaur just interested in stealing and eating that vegetable salad that Thoar has kept beside him.

Of course, such an itsy bitsy lizard-lizzy was easy to miss.

The stegosaurus is asking: “Excuse me. Is this the way to the New York World’s Fair?”

I need a scorecard. I’m losing track of the players. Remind me where we met Thoar of Zoram before?

What a fowl thing to do.

Stegosaurus is a plant eater and should not be interested in whatever Thoar is cooking for breakfast…..unless it’s grilled cauliflower, or Brussel sprouts.

Spoiler Alert: The stegosaurus could be about to display an ability that is not known to modern science!

As the second panel indicates, Gridley has fortunately tapped into his Shadow Man powers.

Did you notice that THOAR is RAOHT spelled backwards? Very few do.
