Got to watch out for those shadowy forms they’re the worst.

This what I find annoying about Tarzan comics: so often, panel 1 repeats panel 3 of the previous strip, and so the story drags for weeks… good thing there is ERBzine, where the entire story arc can be read at once.

I find Usha, the wind, always betrays me at the worst possible time.

Frank also had issues with the wind.

I see that due to budget cuts, the Tarzan strip had to cut some corners to survive. Obviously, they started with the plot.

Fill the tent with hot-lead, now. He who hesitates feels the wrath of Tarzan’s long lion, loin, killer.

Usha in Hindi (from Sanskrit, of course) is mean dawn. (Nisha mean dusk). But in Tarzanland it mean wind. However funny theeng is that there a fan company here which is name as Usha. So Usha wind blowing after all. Not good fans though. Orient better.
