Made me think of the captions to Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” concerti. The one for the slow movement of “Summer” says something like “The gentle breeze moves the grasses while the shepherd boy dreams. From time to time, his dog barks.” In this part, the violins play a lulling dotted alternation of two nearby notes for a couple of measures at a time, as background for the “dreaming” melody. (Violas “bark” twice on the same note at intervals.)

The great thing about Wallace the brave is that there is always an easter egg

Enjoying the little animals tucked in here and there.
Also, the fun variation on W. Henry’s signature.
And the squatchy “SEEN ME?” sign.
And I suspect I’d like the scrawled words on the tail end of Spud’s nasal word banner… but I can’t read them. Anyone?

I’d be very interested in what’s sipping the water in the crook of that tree, Wallace…

Love the transition of the singing grass to Spud’s wheezing.

Spud could use an antihistamine. Suffering from allergies is no fun.

Spud might enjoy the outside even more with an antihistamine……

Cool little baby bird with its mouth wide open, waiting to be fed.
Others are seeing a little fish – Mr. Henry? Can you clarify?

Never thought of nose whistling as “singing…”

Knowing Spud, he’s quite a brave person to put up with everything just to follow his friend around
