@Linguist Today’s strip IS funny and all the panels help in developing the gag our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s exercise regime is getting up from the couch to go to the pub :o) like me I never go jogging and the only exercises I do is going up four sets of steps from the basement to the washroom on the roof and typing on my desktop key board ,my avatar is a photo a Jellyfish surviving for 35 years in spite of not having one brain cell which is good news for some people I know even in my street :o) Comment avez vous passe votre Dimanche mon moins vieux ami? our Sunday should be a little busy but calm I hope ,no early morning drive , no errands to run or visits to expect ,we are both in a good mood in spite of the infernal heat so we can relax ,watch the Holy Mass celebrated by our Archbishop then stay in areas with A/C and keep hydrated with chilled bottled water , keep safe and since I don’t watch soccer ,who won, the Brits or the Italians ? and a bientot pal
Ever read the book about exercise and running by Jim Fix? He died age 52 of massive heart attack after a run, it was reported. Good read though. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Fixx
Nobody mentioned that Andy really gets more exercise than the average couch potato. After all, he walks to all his pubs, stands at the bar – he doesn’t sit on a barstool all day like lots of the bar flys – he manages to crawl/swim his way home, plus he plays soccer and rugby, participates in the occasional bar brawl, and can outrun any bill collector or creditor in Hartlepool. He’s in much better shape than some of his fans!!

Considering how often he gets thrown out, he might be eligible for frequent flier points

From all appearances it seems Andy’s regimen is working out better than Charlie’s.
