@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp has found his match in the Vicar ,quoting from the Bible failed to get the little sot any money :o) my avatar again is my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’s happy like I am , how was your day? ours should be a little busy but calm I hope ,we have already done our bulk shopping , have no errands to run and we are both in a good mood , in spite of the unrelenting heat , so we are drinking lots of chilled bottled water to keep hydrated , yesterday we where woken up by idiot Maltese , Italian supporters running around in cars honking horns and letting off bangers :o{ , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

I’ve never known a preacher or a priest to stand a round of drinks, but I’ve known a few of ‘em who’d hold out their empty glass if someone else was buyin’!

Andy, I just saw a pick-up line over on Animal Crackers you should try, “I’d drink to your health, but I’d require a co-pay first”.

The bible also says to not eat anything from the sea that does not have fins. Or pork. Or mix meat and milk, like a cheeseburger. Or wear anything made from mixed fabrics like those socks with elastic at the tops to keep them up. Or work on the Sabbath. But it’s ok to marry your sister-in-law if your brother dies.

Football really does bring out the hooligans. I mean look at Andy Capp! Sorry to hear your sleep was disrupted.

Does your bulk shopping involve buying ice cream by any chance? You always seem to be eating it. And why not?When I’m at the carvery on the 21st, I might get the Dairy ice cream on my chocolate fudge cake instead of the whipped cream. Starting to drool now!

Tomorrow I’m at my volunteering and then I’m going to meet somebody in town afterwards. This is not my friend from school, I have only recently got in touch with this guy but I knew him a little beforehand. He used to be a client at where I worked. A cousin of mine happens to know him too. Asked him if he fancied meeting up sometime.

As Gweedo would say to me: “You’ve got all these boyfriends!” Cheeky git.

As with many people, Andy is picking and choosing the verses he likes and doesn’t put it into context. I doubt he will adhere to the verses just before this one (emphasis added):
