Where’s the fun in that?

It’s always best to listen to Mom.

This is not looking good!

… and there may be holes to explore and trees to climb and a crick to play in and bugs to find and new trails to make …

I am more concerned about Rover getting TICKS! They are really nasty in New England this year because of all of the rain.

Kids have a mind of their own…

We didn’t and survived. Mom would tell us to make some mud and rub it on, seriously. Who needs big Pharma.

You got to be kidding. Up at the cabin, (during Red and Rover’s decade), almost everyday, we’d go deep in the woods with all the neighbors’ dogs, for hours, with NOTHING but summer clothing and come home hungry.

“Alright then, as long as I can say, “I told you so!”’

And her last words were: Have fun…

Red seems to be more of a rover than Rover.

I hate his fifth-grade teacher!

Good time of day. The sun is low.

I hope they will be okay.

we have had twice as much rain as normal and the bugs / mosquitoes are terrible. bug spray doesn’t even help!

I wore long sleeves and pants when I was in poison ivy, once. I got the rash anyway, then, I got it again after wearing those clothes again, even after being laundered. If you’re allergic, just embrace it.
