I think, (please remember that I’m an ignorant Yank), that the colored ribbon he wears tells what party he belongs to. But I don’t know what color goes to which party though.

Yellow normally indicates Liberal Democrat but there is a problem you really need to look elsewhere Andy Capp is not a political comment the colours do not imply any sort of affiliation

Doug Ford is the current Premier of Ontario. While running for office one of his major platform promises was to lower the price of beer.
