And let’s not forget the hardest part, paste list copied from yesterday to today’s list. We’re dealing with two lists here.

I’ve had days like this.

it looks like the private sector is just as productive as government employment.

Reading Basic Instructions in on my to-do list 3 days a week.

“1. Drive boss insane. Again.”

I have to do this on a scheduling program now. And then update it every day (supposedly). There is about 10 fields I have to fill in for each task, and if there are sub-tasks, I need to write those in although only 4 other fields for each subtask. Sometimes it does take me longer to put it on the scheduling program than to do the task. And then I have to update the dates it should have been done when I have not done it so nothing is overdue. A fulltime job.

When you do things like this, you don’t get to complain about your lack of a raise. Or the client being angry at you.

I’ve had a couple of jobs where you had to fill out a timesheet, showing the hours you spent on different projects. I hated that.

Alan Lakein would be proud.
