My husband used to do this with dark socks. He’s European and used that as an excuse. Now, living in Florida, at least he no longer does this because it’s too hot to wear socks!

I think you have to be past age seventy or under age twenty-five to rock this style.

athletic socks go with those plastic athletic slide ons. I figured those were originally for hitting the showers but people insist on wearing them everywhere
