Ah, the aftermath of many comfort foods. They taste so good, but then we often have to pay a big price for our indulgence. This is why I keep a bottle of Pepto Bismol at the ready, because I’m not going to give up eating what gives me pleasure—at least momentarily. I know, the easiest thing to do is to stop eating that which causes discomfort afterward, but we humans don’t always do what’s best for us.
