i love my job. i only work occasionally, get paid more than i’m worth and more than the average joe makes in a week, and get to have fun the rest of the time. what’s not to like…?

Take this job and shove it…..

I’ve never quit a job in my life (and I’m 62); even the US Navy made me retire after I’d “done my time” but I’m quitting the job I’ve had for the past 11 years – in RETAIL HELL. I only make $10.10 an hour – AFTER 11 YEARS!!! About two months ago, I got offered a second part-time job that started me at $12 AND a $500 sign-up bonus and they’ve just announced that they’ve raised the pay to $14 AND a $150 bonus! Ironically, my new manager said “It’s long overdue”! And my other job only pays $10.10 an hour after 11 years??? Talk about “overdue”! I make more money in 17.5 hrs at my new job than I did doing 30 hrs at my other job! No more nights, no more weekends (unless I want to), no more Holiday Hell! I may be loyal, but I’m not STUPID!
