That could be a second career.

Why bother, after you finish decluttering you end up re-cluttering.

I buy the least amount of stuff and my wife says our clutter is mostly my stuff.

he’s got a point. so there’s got to be a happy medium somewhere.

in my experience, this will only result in throwing my stuff out… to make room for more of her stuff!

Brutus, you overheard my wife and I talking. I’ve lost a lot of “treasures” over the years.

Brutus, just say to her, Have at it woman but just leave my stuff alone". However, words like that will just make her want to buy more stuff to clutter the house after she declutters the house. You can’t ever win Mr. Born Loser….

Nothing left is the point of decluttering.

This one hits close to home. We just got done getting rid of all of my late mother-in-law‘s stuff and we’ve come to realize how much of our own stuff needs to be decluttered. 41 years of marriage so far and it won’t go away on its own as I had hoped!

I don’t call it ‘clutter’ but rather ‘flat surface decoration’ as in any time there is a flat surface stuff appears to rest on it

Which reminds me, I have a few boxes I keep forgetting to take to Goodwill.

I have a box in my living room that I’m putting stuff in to be donated…

This hits home for me, because I’m in the process of cleaning out my closet, which is extremely cluttered. Now if I can just convince my husband to start getting rid of his huge collection of DVDs that he will never watch again. :-(
