I’d worry about the virulent variant going viral.

The vaccinated don’t have to worry as much as the unvaccinated do.

I’m most scared of the Omega strain… It’s the last letter in the alphabet and Omega has been linked to the end of civilization in a lot of books and movies. Besides where do they go for designations after the use up the entire alphabet? Note in case a survivor finds this post after the pandemic finally ends . As far as I know scientists have not designated any strain Omega yet so this is not a comment on how deadly the strain actually is or will be as we haven’t found it yet.

What are they going to do when they reach the Omega variant, and the virus just keeps on mutating?

Just like the flu, COVID will continue to mutate and you will need a new shot every year forever! So learn to live with it.

I had my Physics and advanced math students learn the greek alphabet. Being familiar with it demystified a Lot of math and science.

The vaccine won’t protect you 100%, so people refuse it. Parachutes aren’t 100% effective either, but I wouldn’t jump from an airplane without one.
