He won the recall. Not that anybody “wins” when that much time and money gets wasted with no outcome beyond “no change”.

Now the Trumpies can resume chanting ’Voter Fraud, Stolen Election" BEFORE the next recall attempt or election.

Note to those few attending the Sept 18th Rallies “Justice for J6”: Do NOT wear any Pro-Trump clothing . . .probably not take selfies of yourselves or group photos and carry ONLY the American Flag. Thank you in advance of the arrests. . . . /S

It’s California, we aren’t going to elect a Thuglican. And I think he did a fair job on Covid.

I don’t see the point. Did the recall wash Newsom? The last time I saw something similar was with George Romney in a washer (the brainwashing remark on Vietnam) in a Herblock cartoon of late September 1967.

My first thought was ‘’French laundromat? Something from Jeff’s Vietnam days? Foreign to me.’’

But no, it’s some Newsom goof, from a high priced eatery. Oh, well.

I met him one day at the laundromat. He turned around and smiled at me. And that’s when I ran from the leader of the PAC.

It’s interesting that the “party” always worried about taxpayer spending, forced us to cough up millions for a B/S quixotic endeavor, when there’s a real election in around a year which they will also lose. Plus, their “front runner” was a black Trumpian who actually made Humpty almost look sane.

Let’s leave aside the obvious point that California’s recall law was written by the imaginary friends of real lunatics. (I mean, c’mon, how hard can it be to have the lieutenant gov step in? In Missouri our Loot was advanced far beyond the level of his competence because our gov had to resign in disgrace to avoid being sent to prison in disgrace.) The real point is that an obvious mental case was first among the losers!

So Newsom made a stupid mistake. Even so, he has done the best he could getting CA through COVID (and through it and through it, and still through it, thanks to idiot anti-vaxxers and politicians) and on his worst day he could never be as bad as Elder and X-45.

Never understood the reason for the “recall”…people should learn to learn how to assess their values and the values of the dumb farts.
