Alice should just go as herself. Everybody who knows her will be terrified.

In spite of Petey having what some people would call “Issues” – he is ALSO very sharp! Often the off-beat people are also very intelligent – people don’t give them their due!

Bag of jelly donuts? There was a Simpson’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode where Homer got transformed into a giant donut. Then he started pinching off pieces of himself and eating them…

My high school cross-country coach said the best costume he ever saw was when a guy dressed as a gumball machine.

Saw a group of 4 guys at a frat party (of course!) dressed as a men’s room.

Petey, My Hero, hears more than you’d think from his distracted look. Do not be deceived.

Alice, meanwhile, in her Halloween Costume Panic (as Madeline says), voices every outlandish possibility that comes to her mind….

I’m glad Mom explained this – it went right over my head!
