There was a sign outside my college’s cafeteria reading “Shirts and shoes are required to eat in the cafeteria.” Below it was written “Pants and socks may eat wherever they wish.”

And, he has a tie. That’s not even a requirement.

I have known several women who have done this. XXL t-shirt with a belt, shoes or sandals. And a pair of underthings, usually bikini bottoms. Shopkeepers don’t care.
