I am almost surprised that I still enjoy watching my wife change clothes as much as I do, neither one of us is getting younger

I did the unthinkable last night and told her the jeans she had on were not her most flattering

Right thing to say I guess, because the reason they don’t fit is that she lost weight

I tell my wife nothing looks good on her!

I will always love the way my wife looks with nothing on.

I know she’s no longer in her twenties, but as long as it doesn’t become a health risk, I don’t care what she weights.

So, I get Arlo liking to watch her, but what is Janis doing? I’d say cleaning her closet, but it looks like maybe she went on a major shopping spree? Right after redoing the guest room? Her own mid-life crisis, maybe?

I liked our early morning ritual of weighing in. To be consistent you have to weigh before you eat to be consistent. The other thing is – no cheating. So, the best way not to cheat is to weigh the same each time – NO clothes, even if the silky nightgown only weighs 1/2 oz.

I’ve spent time at nude resorts. Believe me, you get tired of seeing just naked flesh all the time. It is a nice change to go to the nightclub and see a variety of clothing.

Janis seems mad in the last panel. I have no idea why she would be mad, and I am female. I don’t ever really “get” Janis in this strip.

My wife just turned 65 and she is still beautiful to me.

Wrong Answer Arlo…Sheesh

Before the soon to be ex husband left me I can’t remember the last time he was in the room when I was changing and him making a nice compliment like Arlo does for Janis and only told me he loved me if I said it first like he felt he was obligated to say it. All the signs were there for a couple of years and I didn’t notice them but now that he is gone I think back and remember things and get very sad and feel very naive.

Some things are better not shared with the world.
