I’m sensing a low combat campaign here. The bard with the Charisma and Speech skills, the rogue with Stealth and possibly Charisma and Speech skills (lyin’ and connivin’), and the cleric with Wisdom.
I though Heart was going to be the DM, but this probably makes more sense. Will we get a fantasy sequence as was often the case in the preboot, or will Steenz take the realistic approach and show their interactions while playing the game?
As someone who’s been doing tabletop gaming longer than some of the people he’s gamed with have been alive?
This is a terrible team composition for most traditional types of campaigning. They have no stand-up fighters and no dedicated mages, so they’d be limited to stealth-based campaigns and would have to run from any sort of hard stand-up fight.
No, you do not want your cleric fighting on the front, even if they’ve got a nice heavy morningstar.
(For those wondering, standard minimum composition is a “tank” such as a fighter, barbarian, or paladin; a rogue; a cleric; a mage; and a jack-of-all-trades such as a bard or ranger. This allows the maximum spread of abilities and fighting styles, meaning that no matter what the characters are up against someone has the right solution.)

Of course Heart choses to be a Bard. But she will be a chaotic bard not one of those safe, predictable bards.

They’re a bit light on up front firepower.

Yep, I called it a couple days ago – Heart was going to be a Bard.

Of course Heart would be a bard. Though bard and cleric are both support classes, so I’m not sure that team is going to work well….

Unbalanced party; where’s their tank? Or their ranged attack character?
