Hate self checkout.

The cereal supply is now scant.

Except for the throwing the items, we’ve been through the same torture.

Looks like “AI” is not up to speed, yet.

Those machines! Never answer my greeting, “How it going today?”

Self-checkout is a slight improvement over having a cashier who makes snide comments about what you’re buying and/or why. One cashier said to me, “Gotta satisfy the sweet tooth, huh?” I said, “No, it’s for my grandmother.”

Love self checkout.i rarely have a problem.

I just forget to scan them again and just put them in the bag.

I always use the people line. A-it gives someone a job. B- I pay by check. C-my store hires developmentally disabled persons to bag.

I think Target hire cheery Jan from the Toyota commercials to record the reminder to take my receipt.

Nope…

ShopRite needs to get their freaking act together with self checkout.

Pretty much my opinion of self-checkout, too.

that is something I would truly love to do

As a cashier, the only comments I’ve ever made about candy has been on the line of “Oooh! That’s one of my favorites!” Or “Wow, that looks tempting!” Although once or twice I’ve said “Wow! I didn’t know we carried that variety! It sure looks good!”

This cartoon looks like it could have happened at the Walmart where I work.
