If the devil ever overtakes my conscience, I can seriously mess with younger people. When I was in the Service, I had the usual friends that always told me that I’d better write to them… I did, and they didn’t reply, so, I started messing with the letters.. spirals, backwards printing, and that sort. My last resort was to write a 2-sided letter in cursive, so that the letter had to be read in a mirror. That was a very long time ago, but, just to keep up that totally worthless skill, I still do it now, just to keep in practice… just in case. :)

In the 18 months or so since covid began, 94 books (it’s great to belong to a library!), in the 18 months before covid it was only 71 books.
