Bok is very upset that Gen. Milley averted a war.

A reasonable difference. A crazy fool can be very dangerous and we should be grateful there are some that have the power to act on the difference.

Aw, MB. No reason to feel so bad that even a group of Cyber Ninjas was unable to discover any trace of the vast and diabolical Democratic fraud in Arizona. There’s always Texas, Georgia and so on. Some day the truth will come to light and Covfefe-45 will be reinstated with all due pomp, circumstance, and beer hall putschery. And the lamb will lie down with the lion in the rose garden of life.

I gave Chip a thumbs up on this toon, something that I rarely do, since, given the choice between crazy and senile, I’ll take senile anyday. Though senility can lead to a few blunders, crazy is way more dangerous and leads to blunders all the time.

But, for the record, Milley denied having the expertise to diagnose Dump’s mental state and never said that Biden is senile. Milley, while being the right guy at the right time to prevent a nuclear war, he is not above protecting his six at the expense of owing allegiance to the sitting president.

This is about about a 4 Star who thinks he’s a 5 Star that let his perceived power get ahead of his judgment. Something his training, patriotism, common sense and in this case superiors should have prevented, but did not. He should be told to resign immediately pending Court Martial for Violating the chain of Command and possibly treason. And his civilian supporters should be held accountable also. Enough Democratic game playing this is endangering our country off the Richter scale.

Mr. Bok, I recommend you stop using the Cliff Notes version of the news. Read the book, and/or the transcript of his testimony. If you did, you’d see this is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Maybe we should play Memories from Cats to settle Bok down, because this cartoon has absolutely no basis in reality.

This is a bad-faith question, akin to “when did you stop beating your wife?” Milley did not “end-run the Trump chain of command”. It is, however, very telling that Bok calls it the Trump chain of command, and not just “the chain of command”. Bok has revealed himself to not be a patriotic American, but a Trump loyalist instead. There never was a Trump chain of command, just as there is now no Biden chain of command. Generals swear loyalty to the Constitution, not the President.

Not senile just criminally incompetent.

I initially disagreed with the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. I did so after considering the success of the Marshall Plan, in which Germany was transformed from a ruined totalitarian dictatorship that had waged war on and unprecedented scale to a model democratic republic. The price tag for the Marshall Plan was $13 Billion at the time, but is equivalent to about $200 Billion today. But wasn’t it worth it?

Then consider Afghanistan, where the cost, according Forbes is more than $2 Trillion; more than 10 times the cost of the Marshall Plan:

I am sure that president Biden considered this when he made the difficult decision to withdraw. I am also sure that he considered the thousands of lives that have been lost as well, and I’m sure he knew he would pay a steep political price.

I need to respect President Biden’s decision. Bok’s cartoon is ludicrous.
