Because the movie wasn’t a super mega blockbuster like Shrek, it was considered a major failure by Dreamworks’ greedy standards at the time. That’s why we didn’t get a Pearls Before Swine movie.
I used to think that way about Pogo. Then they did animate Pogo. There was more sense of movement and action in the comic. Imagination works more wonder between panels than the eye gets to fill in between frames running 30 per second.
Don’t be so negative, RJ. Maybe they will make a sequel if they put their mind to it, with a few perks being that they’ll find someone else to voice Verne since Garry Shandling passed away (like maybe Christopher McDonald).
Just look at that miniature pre-historic T-Rex go! I just love George’s expression in the 2nd panel! He just loves to be in motion. Off to the skate park fellas! Great to see you buddy!

Yeah, can’t have people belly-laughing in the theatre.

Could go for a series. Worked for Baby Blues, Dilbert, Garfield, Heathcliff, For Better or for Worse and Peanuts.

Is it appropriate to say to him as he wizzes by: “See you later, alligator!”? ;D

Lead on Hammy !

They’d need to find a new voice for Verne, since the late Garry Shandling voiced him in the first movie.

Better be careful. Disney is likely to sue for copyright infringement over Hammy’s line.

Second Holiday strip I’ve seen today. Well George IS more “indigenous” than the others.

I love George!

Sorry, Hammy; I don’t think “Onward” will get a sequel either.

the Cheetos mushroom cloud was worth the price of admission – enjoyed seeing it in the theatre with my youngest son during his college days.
