As our representatives are exempt from most insider trading and conflict of interest laws, maybe they should pay to work.
… giving away money that isn’t theirs and isn’t really there.
Should be “Giving away billions of someone else’s dollars.”

Sounds about right….
The only hard work about giving away billions of dollars is making sure as much of it as possible lands in your and your buddies’ pockets…
And the great thing is, giving away all those billions didn’t cost a penny!
Yeah, that’s Congress for you: always thinking of “the people”, i.e. “themselves”.
