A wise man indeed. However, I find that meatloaf is a relatively easily prepared and very good tasting main dish that compliments a wide variety of good tasting side dishes. However, it never hurts to have a bottle of ketchup handy…….

I musta heard that a thousand times growing up and even later, from my mother, as that was her motto. She lived it, too, until she was in her 70’s. I confess that the first time I heard her swear, I wanted to drag her into the kitchen and shove a bar of soap into her mouth, like she did me more than once.

After today’s Patriots vs Browns game I have NOTHING nice to say.

Mother was 23 days short of being 90 when she passed and I never heard her utter a bad word or talk about someone in a negative way. I wished many times I could say the same thing about myself. The mouth can be a terrible weapon.
