Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP….
Or, to be a bit more reasoned: Make him a clear example so that others may have the chance to mend their expectations. Because if you let him get away with this, you will never get another peep out of any of the Trumpettes.
But
Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP. Lock him UP….
When Garland took office he stated that his highest priority was to find who was behind the insurrection and bring them to justice. I hope he follows through.
Especially since there are still too many Trump people in the DOJ
Unfortunately those refusing House subpoenas will challenge in courts. Even though Herr Gropingfuror isn’t president any longer, he’s still claiming executive privilege, which President Biden has turned down, leading to another court case. They are counting on the Qpublicans retaking the House in 2022 and killing the Select committee.
In August 2020, Bannon and three others were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and money laundering in connection to the We Build the Wall campaign. The defendants allegedly enriched themselves, despite promising that all contributions would go to building a wall. Bannon pleaded not guilty and was pardoned by Trump before his trial date.
The best and quickest rout for the special committee to go: The Supreme Court said in 1821 that Congress has “inherent authority” to arrest and detain recalcitrant witnesses on its own, without the Justice Department’s help.
Our legal system has clogged so much up over the years with legal toilet paper that criminal activities, and especially Political criminal activities, can not easily be flushed through the plumbing of our legal system. Remember the Dickens character in “Oliver Twist,” Mr. Bumble, who said,
“If the law supposes that,” said Mr. Bumble, squeezing his hat emphatically in both hands, “the law is a ass – a idiot”.
(I choose in this in his instance to use the word “ass” as a human anatomical feature. And if the high court is the center of our legal system, what does that make it? Especially the current high court, with three Trump-nominated jurists?
And perhaps this metaphor can be applied to Donald Trump’ complaint about water pressure in toilets and faucets:
“You turn on the faucet and you don’t get any water. They take a shower and water comes dripping out. Just dripping out, very quietly dripping out,” the President continued, lowering his voice as he spoke about the drips. “People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once.”
Now might be the time to implement Trump’s wish, and remove whatever is clogging our Legal System plumbing. And so he and his gang as a large obstruction of whatever-you-want-to-call it would be the first to flush through.
I see Garland’s name. Hopefully, we don’t have to depend on that milquetoast to get some action. Dems, as usual, continue to play nice. Ain’t gonna work against the Anti-Democracy Party.
“Insurrection”? What do call BLM and Antifa RIOTS, murders, and lawlessness? Peaceful gatherings??? Demoncrats are sickening. The only person murdered at your so-called “insurrection” was an innocent woman…SAY HER NAME…Ashli Babbitt.
In short order, the former president’s office said this: “If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ’22 and ’24. It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”
‘Another layer of pressure’: Analyst says Biden just turned up the heat on Bannon to cooperate
On Friday’s edition of CNN’s “The Situation Room,” congressional correspondent Ryan Nobles said that President Joe Biden’s remarks to reporters that the House should move ahead with a criminal contempt referral for former Trump strategist Steve Bannon could put further pressure on him to cooperate with the January 6 investigation.
“But I do think that in the grand scheme of all of this, it also plays back to the Select Committee’s long-term strategy here,” added Nobles. “Their ultimate goal is not to put Steve Bannon in handcuffs and put him in jail, it’s to get the information they are looking for. This is another layer of pressure on Bannon to do just that.”
Mr. Danziger, have you read about Bannon ‘s association with a cult which includes former Moonies, worship of AK-47’s and love of Trump? They have bought land for training compounds and told followers they need to be willing to die. More than just a middle finger.

If.. they leave witnesses like Bannon free to flaunt the law.. they might as well shut the investigation down and save the taxpayers a pile of money.
