I’ve got the prep solution sitting in my office right now.

That garden hose? That’s just the prep.

The procedure is no problem. You’re sedated anyway. The prep is difficult.

Time for mine as well. This year is pretty much shot, so next year it is.

Better lay down tarps all over the house before starting the super-laxative prep solution.

Just don’t let him read (or Google) what Dave Barry had to say about colonoscopies.

I just went through this about a month ago. The process is much improved over the one I had 10 years ago but still not a joy ride.

I’ve been getting them every two or three years since I turned 45 before the turn of the millennium. I have family history of colon cancer: my mother spent her last decade living with a colostomy. Consequently, I go through the nasty preparations willingly; I’d rather have a dozen colonoscopies than one colostomy.

She sure found the right motivator!

I am a retired pharmacist. When I dispensed GoLightly I always told the patient that it should be called Go Heavily.

You would think that in todays advance medical technology that they could find a less painful way to clean you out…

There’s now a formula that uses Gator Aid; much better.
