Alas, that we live in cities. The next to best view I’ve had of the sky was in the middle of Wyoming (AKA “nowhere”) at about 4 AM with a temperature of -5 degrees.
The best view was from the cockpit of an aircraft at nearly 50,000 feet above about 80% of the Earth’s atmosphere.
