National Brush Day. National Brush Day on November 1st reminds us all to follow the American Dental Association’s guidelines. Sometimes the day is referred to as Brush Your Teeth Day.The day follows Halloween, which traditionally is the single most significant day of candy consumption in the USA. The simple act of brushing your teeth twice daily for two minutes can have a substantial impact on cavity prevention. It also impacts a myriad of oral diseases such as gingivitis.
Autistics Speaking Day
National Cook For Your Pets Day

National Vinegar Day
National Deep Fried Clams Day
National Calzone Day. If the air is resplendent with the aroma of garlic and tomato sauce on November 1st, it might just be time to celebrate National Calzone Day.
When my cat starts doing the “bad mojo here” thing, I listen! I was out walking with them one day when they both “froze” into little statues. I tracked their line of sight for a full minute before I saw a coyote 100 yards away, exactly the same color as the dry grass. They waited motionless for five minutes until the coyote disappeared over the hill.
From then on, if they said “no” to going left, we would go right. Cats don’t have ESP but they have very good pan-sensory perception.
Yikes, that was close! Thank goodness they were able to get out of the way in time. On another note, saw Three golden crowned kinglets, a wren, and three varied thrushes while out walking today.
Well, the horses moved to the big facility that Redemption Road Rescues has nearer to town (and the vets). Vet declared them not contagious, but one is in kidney failure and will need lots of specific care. Because they had bonded, they will be kept together. I already miss seeing them in the pasture. But I know they will have excellent care. And it won’t be long until others will need to be in quarantine, and come spend time with me.
One of you recommended generic ink jet cartridges for my brother printer last week and I meant to check it out, but when I went back looking for the comment, I couldn’t find it. I’d sure appreciate what company it was. I need to replace all my cartridges even though they are full. I seldom use the printer and well, you know…
