You’ve got a classroom of students in the same grade. I think that’s a good idea. You have shown you are an excellent teacher, Snow. Time to help Mrs. Snow keep her sanity!
I wondered what she meant in the first panel (nice thought, the father doing the home-schooling). Then I read the 2nd panel! Heh, heh! She’s done her time!
Kittens have no “culture”. They literally have to try EVERYTHING in order to discover the limits of their minds and bodies. Humans, fortunately, have the ability to learn from other people’s mistakes. Use that ability. Don’t make all the mistakes yourself.
Our 17 year old was born when the breeder had two litters about the same time. He was the smallest one. He’s had self esteem problems all his life. He’s nice but very reclusive.
My youngest had a hands-off mother who watched for any danger but let her explore the physical world on her own. The kitten was born with a touch of CH and some balance/coordination issues, but taught herself gymnastics by curiosity and persistence.

They do have enough kittens for a school of their own.

Now that I think of it, the proverb doesn’t specify whose curiosity is doing the killing.
