Went out to eat with my brother and his new bride, who happen to live where she was raised, in England. He ordered lime chicken, but didn’t care for it. She asked if it was ‘too limey’ for him. He said, “if you’re not, it’s not.” Fortunately she saw the humor in the matter.

From watching t.v. and movies, I have come to realize that the Texas accent must be hard to duplicate. People try to put too much “southern in it” we are "southwestern and not so sweet as the Carolina’s. Only added this cause he mentioned the Texas 2 step.

There were a couple of ‘Dilbert’ strips many years ago where this one guy spoke with a British accent to sound smarter, but he employed a Cockney accent. Still the ladies in the were taken by it because they were desperate. The only person who can speak that way and still sound smart is Sir Michael Caine.

why not a 4th panel with the man spaying the drink all over the other man after his try at a British Accent that wold stop him from going over to the woman and making a fool of himself.

You should hear how UK actors do American accents, most of them think we talk like gangsters. :)
