Maybe Santa can’t swim but I’m sure the reindeer can.

I blame it all on those CO2 producing reindeer.

Santa’s elves can build lots of toys, but they couldn’t figure out how to build a raft or canoe or something else that floats?

I think this would make a great Christmas Card for those of us who have a twisted sense of humor. Keep up the good work Dan.

No, no, Santa is a far thinker and after finding out about how certain atmospheric gases trap heat dates back almost 200 years to 1824 when Joseph Fourier described what we know as the greenhouse effect. Years after Fourier’s death on May 16, 1830, scientists continued to ask questions about the greenhouse gas effect. In 1862, John Tyndall discovered that certain gases (water and carbon dioxide) help trap heat from escaping the atmosphere. Later, in 1895, Swedish Chemist Svante Arrhenius observed the infrared-absorbing properties of carbon dioxide and water molecules. That was what convinced Santa Claus what he needs to do. (His satellite facilities in the European and S. American mountains remain and almost totally automated.)

SANTA LIVES AT THE ANTARCTIC SINCE 1904

Don’t underestimate that Light Elf hybrid, Kris Kringle. He saw the science and thinks way ahead and moved from the ice only North Pole to the South by 1904, which is a continent under perpetual ice—-till now in 2017 where green things are growing again. More of them than ever before! So he was prescient in this. He lives in the “NO FLY ZONE” were the Antarctic Nazis hide out. They make for poor neighbors, but they are kept from snooping as well as the US or Russia or anyone else. He foresees one day in the far future the Antarctic continent will be free of ice and self functioning archologies of the rich will dot the grey and green areas. And the skies will change from blue to green by as late as 2100.
