Heh. We have eight dispensaries now in our small city. (Still probably is heavily outnumbered by packies, but eh.) I like seeing the bits where our society’s changed for the better; it helps ease the pain from the bits where the changes have proved ephemeral.

Before they legalized it here the naysayers were all doom and gloom and predicted increased crime rates. I’m still waiting for the increase.

Of course. Those of us who remember the 55 Mile per hour speed limit were pretty much all criminals, or at least scoff laws. I don’t remember prohibition, but we are still living with the consequences of that stupid law.

25 years later, things have only changed for about 1/4 of the country, but the federal government is still antagonistic about it. Whoopee…. progress….
