And all of that will help him be an Individual, instead of a mindless drone someday. He needs to discover he does NOT need to be told what to do 24/7/365; that he Does have a brain and can Use it for something other than keeping his ears separated.

NOT who I’d choose for a mother — if I had a choice.

My mother claimed that children should be free to roam and laze about for the Summer. Years later I realized that we were relatively poor, so no big, expensive vacations for us … a hand-me-down tricycle had to suffice!

Are we related??? Our tricycle server all 4 of us kids. Vacations were tent camping state parks, and they are my best memories.

My brothers and I never went to summer camp. We didn’t have the money, plus we moved around too much. I went to 12 schools in 12 years in 5 states. We met new kids, saw new places all the time. Lots of nature in each state! Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, and Texas! At times I hated moving around so much, but I learned to appreciate the rich culture of each place we moved to.

If she were my mother I’d leave home after committing justifiable homicide
