Today’s Daily Mirror shows a photo of a large inflatable Andy Capp on display in Reg Smythe’s town of Hartlepool which has had a statue of Andy Capp for several years now.

I wonder why people who have little money bet on horses or anything.

He’s crossing the finish line ahead of the whole pack! Of the NEXT race!

Sad to say, I’ve bet on more than one horse who crossed the finish without his rider.

By push she means from the rear of the horse.

Andy must have gotten his betting system from a bookie. Maybe he should have consider the source.

Those horses clearly know Andy has bet on them.

Hey, Affie.

I was a lazy bones today. I woke up sometime after 12 and then fell back asleep until after 3pm!

However I won’t be doing that tomorrow because I have to be up early for my volunteering. After I’ve been there it’s KFC time. Yummy!

As you know I’m having my favourite nosh today because I don’t have as much willpower as you to just have it on Fridays. It’s been that way for years so why change?

My Dad has just told me that the weather is going to be really bad on Friday and Saturday but I’m still visiting the city. Even if that Christmas market gets cancelled (I doubt it will as it’s an indoor one) then I’m still going. It’s been too long.

It’s almost as if the horses are conspiring against Andy. (Yeah, I know that’s stupid.)
