Really disturbing when the ownership of the various speech balloons is revealed. I’m surprised his wife didn’t go along on this shopping trip, but I guess she’s counting on Katie to keep him in check.
By the way, “. . . shooting yuletide out of its nose . . . .” What does he think yuletide is? Exactly what does he think is going to come out of the nose of the Santa Dinosaur?
Have bought at “Santa’s World” wholesalers’ annual “we couldn’t get enough stores to order this stuff plus we have samples to get rid of” sale in NYC. (One garland item I liked I bought one stand of it each year for 3 years as it was the display piece for each year.)
Very good at buying at after Xmas sales – though for some time now they start the sale before the holiday.
And it is amazing what can be used as an ornament. When traveling all sorts of items can found that are not ornaments, but can be used as same to represent that location on the tree for the travel ornaments section – putting up the ornaments in sections makes each theme/type of ornament more noticable, plus makes finding the various ornaments to store them away afterwards (some time after 12th night – January 6 – which is, of course, when Christmas actually ends) .

Nice way to keep the suspense up over who’s talking until the final panel.

I’m thinking a King Kong Santa with 8 Godzilla reindeer and a red nosed Kaiju leading the way.

I can tell the wrong person is doing the shopping. Make sure you keep the receipt so Laura can fix this.

Our rule – never buy ornaments for retail price.

There’s more than one skeleton in a Santa suit in my area.
