Happened to me too: after two days my ex-wife became another person I didn’t know.

You should have known, Often Wrong.

And she’s right even when she’s wrong.

Wise choice to pick your battles Brutus. Deep down, you know you are 100% right. She doesn’t need to be made aware of your convictions on the matter though. The fact that you are right, and you know you are right, will be enough to carry you through the day.

That’s one of the reasons why I’ve stayed a bachelor most of my adult life. I can not deal with all that senseless arguing and back and forth! It takes up too much time and energy that could be used for more positive things! And some women argue just for arguments sake! And often times their arguments are downright petty and stupid! But that’s because I find that unlike a lot of men, they have no other outlets to help them release all that anxiety.

A wise man once said….‘Yes Dear.’

A wise man knows how to lose with Grace and say sorry dear. His wife Grace taught him that.

Brutus – For every argument you lose with Gladys, put a dollar in a jar. By the time you retire – shelf full of jars stuffed with ones.

Nice of Brutus to adopt her last name of Right and take up his new nickname of Never.

That is why the 2 words a man says to get married is I Do! and the only 2 words he should ever say for the rest of his life should be Yes Dear!

My experience is that I was fairly lucky with women. They weren’t looking for “Mr. Right”, they were looking for “Mr. Right Now”. :)

I hope his assessment of Gladys was the last time Brutus made a snap decision, but I rather doubt it. Well Brutus, marry in haste repent in leisure.

Good one, Brutus, but you don’t get on the zinger scoreboard if you say it after your wife has left the room.

I am guessing that The Born Loser won’t resume new strips until after 2022 begins. So I won’t check on the status until after the Christmas/New Years holidays anyway.

Let her have it Brutus, she needs to be correct every so often to massage her ego.
