We seem to be getting a very cold winter, the fish are flying south.

McPherson (and Bleeb) are still on vacation.

Must live near Buffalo NY, or Grand Rapids MI

I prefer “its raining cats and dogs” vs the lake-effect fallout!

On a “scale” of 1-5, when they’re “fin”-ished, the yard will be filled with fish out of water…

Well, now all they need is custard and they’ll have a Dr. Who Christmas. Woo Hoo! …woo who?! You know what I mean.

It has rained frogs, why not snow fish?

Not one of them is like another. Don’t ask us why. Go ask your mother.

At first I was worried about the fish on top for snow. Then i remembered that snow melts….

Frozen fish and no license necessary to catch them. Merry Christmas….

At least it’s not a sharknado…

Perhaps they were seeding the lake and the GPS was little off.

Flying Fish !!

It’s raining catfish and dogfish.

The end of my street, overlooking Lake Erie, used to get fish blown onto it during major winter storms. The fronts of the houses would get covered with several inches of ice. One time I stood watching the breaking waves for quite a while. When I turned to head home I found I was also ice-covered. Fortunately it wasn’t thick enough to keep me from walking.

The Lake Effect hits east of here harder. If it happened in my neighborhood, there would be a lot of fat stray cats, come spring.

Ah yes, the real thing is very familiar to us here in Michigan.

Where has the little guy been?
