My squirrels take lava rock from the flower beds and leave them on the porch, or bring p-nut and walnut shells into my yard from who knows where!

My yard is often the recipient of a golf ball. No one play golf or practices anywhere near.

breaking news: A squirrel is going nuts even as a groundhog squirrels away with the rodents nut.

So, will the groundhog see his shadow? Only the Shadow will know.

I had to look it up: “While Groundhogs prefer green vegetation, roots and barks form an important part of their diet as well. They do feed on nuts, but they don’t store them like their cousins, the squirrels, do. They dig their burrows close to farms, gardens and orchards, so as to make sure that the food is available in plenty at any given point of time.”

How much ground could a groundhog hog if a groundhog could hog ground?

Groundhogs are hibernating this time of year.

Ground hogs, aka wood chucks, have been in hard hibernation for two months.

Ours had 3 babies. They are so much fun to watch! However we also have a bobcat, which probably got one or two of them.
