I think she was made captain because she’s an awesome quick change artist. When she was announced as the new captain, she was wearing a lavender top with a white tee shirt underneath. Then as she stood up and shook Mimi’s hand, she had changed the tee shirt to black without removing the top. Then she went to the side to talk to Landry and changed the top to a powder blue and the tee shirt back to white. Whew!

So, is Pranit being cheap because his fantasy football wagering isn’t going so well? If that’s what’s happening, it isn’t clear yet if he’s betting on player stats or it’s just regular harmless fantasy contests.

This is just sad. Gil Thorpe used to delve into serious issues : high schools recruiting athletes from neighboring districts, teachers giving students grades to keep them eligible, players using steroids to gain weight or performance advantages, college recruiters offering illegal inducements, school board members pressuring Gil to play sons of prominent fathers, etc. Now we’re mired in trivia.
