I used to love going grocery shopping with my folks. Particularly with my dad because he’d always give me some money to go play the Ms. Pac-Man arcade cabinet while he would do the shopping. Great times for sure.

Technically, all words are made up.

I learned that from watching Infinity War: https://c.tenor.com/6JomT0BmpvcAAAAC/avengers-infinity-war-thor.gif

Never talk back to your mom. She’s too busy listing up chores for you to do after school to pay attention to anything you say to her…

Every kid knows what their job is when grocery shopping with mom:

    1. Push the cart.

    2. Get the Cap’n Crunch (or whatever cereal that ain’t “bran”).

    3. Get the soda/pop/soft drinks.

    4. Remind mom to get whatever it was she told you to remind her not to forget.

    5. Find dad and have him pull the car up to the exit (‘cause mom ain’t walking all the way out to the back 40 with all them grocery bags).

Oh, as a kid I hated shopping with Mom. It seemed to take forever every time. I know bargain hunting is important but it’s hard for a kid to think that way
