From what I’ve seen in comments section, “projection” may be the most misused and overused (at the same time) word in history, not counting those used as expletives such as “like.”
So almost no one noticed that the one with the pointy head said Jojo looked like a pencil. The dome headed one sid Jojo looked like the Capitol Building, and the lumpy headed one said Jojo’s head looked like a lumpy beanbag?
Notice that none of their similes (if that’s the right word) remotely resemble what JoJo’s haircut looks like. Now if they’d said he looks like a fresh military recruit (male) that would be closer to the mark.

My favorite of “the dozens” is “Yo’ mama’s so dumb that she thinks that St. Ides is a church!”

Why do they always just stand there and listen to them? It’s not like they have them surrounded or pinned against the wall.

Not only can they not pronounce “projection”, it is unlikely they know what the word means.
