I’m not going to say it was a bad movie, but being a Martial Arts movie fan, it wasn’t really a Martial Arts movie…

like modern aircraft it’s all fly-by-wire

And she did that without wires and computers.

I once performed a 15’ long jump perpendicular to my direction of travel. I was jogging along a rural highway and noticed my left foot was going to land next to the head of a rattlesnake. Well, my right foot landed on the opposite shoulder. Luckily no vehicle was coming along at that moment!

I swear Jason & Marcus have referenced reading special effects magazines in regards to Starwars. He should know how those things were done.

Reminds me of the time my friend’s cat jumped into the bathtub. Unbeknownst to the cat, the tub was full of water.

I quit analyzing movies for accuracy because it was no fun

Problematic. Jason is a smarty-pants on steroids, and surely he of all people must realize that the FX in Crouching Dragon are fictions.

Oddly enough, I thought that the most exciting fight in that movie was between Michelle Yeoh abd Ziyi Zhang. No wires, on a level surface, no impossible jumps, just two swordfighters.
